Terms
These terms cover the service Menurea provides to restaurants: I design, build and host your digital menu, and you tell me what goes on it. By using the service you agree to them.
Who runs it
Menurea is a personal project run by one person, Rinor Ambari, based in North Macedonia. It is not a company. You are contracting with me directly, and the contact form on the home page reaches me.
What I do
I set your menu on one of the design collections, or build one for you, and publish it at a menurea.com address with a QR code for your tables. That initial build is done entirely by me, from the photos and details you send.
Keeping your menu up to date
Once the build is finished and your menu is live, keeping its content current is yours to do. You get a dashboard with your restaurant, and through it you can change menu items, prices, availability, opening hours and your business details yourself, as often as you like, at no extra cost. Nothing here is rationed and there is no per-change fee for doing it yourself.
If you would rather I made a change for you, I am happy to — that is a paid request, at €20 per request. One request covers one batch of changes submitted together, so a dozen price updates sent in a single message is one fee, not twelve. I will confirm the fee before doing the work, and I will always tell you if the change is something you could do yourself in less time than it takes to send it to me.
This does not apply when something is broken. If the dashboard will not save, the menu will not load, an image will not upload, or anything else goes wrong with the platform or with work I did, fixing it is on me and costs nothing. You should never pay a fee because my software did not do its job.
What you are responsible for
- That the content you give me is accurate — particularly prices and allergen information, which your diners will rely on.
- That it stays accurate after launch. Once your menu is live, the content in it is maintained by you through your dashboard, so a price that has changed or a dish that is no longer served is yours to correct.
- That you have the right to use the text, logos and photographs you send me, and that I may publish them for you.
- That the content is lawful and does not infringe anyone else’s rights.
Allergen information deserves its own sentence: I publish exactly what you provide and cannot verify it. Keeping it correct and current is yours.
Trials, fees and cancellation
New restaurants start on a 15-day trial. After that the service continues on the plan you chose, billed yearly or monthly in advance. Fees are as shown in the pricing section when you sign up. You can cancel at any time, effective at the end of the period you have already paid for; I do not refund part-periods unless the law requires it.
Your web address
On Signature, your menu is published at a menurea.com address — menurea.com/r/your-restaurant. That address is part of the service and stays with it.
Bespoke includes a domain of its own instead. I register it once the build fee and the first year at €300 have been paid, and I keep paying to renew it for as long as the plan is running. It is registered in my name and is part of the plan, not something you buy separately from me.
If you cancel, the domain goes with the plan: I stop renewing it, and it lapses at the end of the period already paid for. It does not transfer to you automatically. Worth knowing before you print it on signage, cards or anything else you cannot cheaply reprint.
Your content is yours
You keep ownership of everything you send me. You give me permission to host, adapt and display it for the purpose of running your menu. I keep ownership of the design collections, the software and the Menurea brand — using the service does not transfer any of that to you. On cancellation I will provide a copy of your menu content on request.
Availability
I work to keep menus available at all times, but I cannot promise uninterrupted service. Maintenance, and failures at the hosting or database providers, can interrupt it. There is no service-level guarantee on the current plans.
Suspension
I may suspend or withdraw a menu that breaks these terms or is unlawful. Where I reasonably can, I will warn you first and give you a chance to put it right.
Unpaid renewals work the same way. If a renewal goes unpaid, your menu is taken offline until it is settled. Nothing is deleted — your items, prices, photos and settings stay exactly as you left them, and the QR codes on your tables do not need reprinting, because the address does not change. Once payment arrives I put the menu back live.
Liability
I am responsible for what I get wrong, but my total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. I am not liable for lost profits or lost business. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes to these terms
I may update these terms. For material changes I will tell customers by email at least 30 days beforehand, and the date at the top will change. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept them.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of North Macedonia, and its courts have jurisdiction over any dispute.
